NJ Workers' Compensation Rates to Increase in 2019

The NJ Division of Workers' Compensation has announced that the rates for workers' compensation benefits will increase to a maximum of $921.00 per week for temporary and permanent disability and to a minimum of $245.00.

"Individuals who suffer a disability which is total in character and permanent in quality are entitled to receive 70% of the weekly wages that they earned at the time of their injury subject to a maximum of 75% of the Statewide Average Weekly Wages (SAWW) and a minimum of 20% of the SAWW." The 2018 rates are $903.00 for maximum temporary and permanent disability and a minimum of $241.00.
