The New Jersey compensation rating and inspection euro has announced that we will be seeking a decrease of 3.8% in the overall premium and rate levels effective January 1, 2020.
The proposed revision is based upon its most recent experience ratings and a review of classification relativity. If these changes are approved, it would represent the fourth consecutive year that rates have decreased in New Jersey and the fifth year in a row where there has not been an increase.
